Motorsport..

I love motorsport but probably not for the reasons most people do. To me it's all about strategy and subtleties.

Take for instance the recent changes to Formula 1. What moron thought doing away with tyre changes would make it better?

New tyres give drivers confidence, confident drivers are more exciting drivers. duuhh, even the simpletons in FIA could figure that one out I would have thought. Not to mention tyre changing is a great part of the strategy and after last weeks race where Kimi's suspension broke, surely changing tyres must be a safety issue.

As for limiting the number of cylinders, engine size etc. Do you want to turn it into Indy car racing? F1 is supposed to be the ultimate motorsport. Let them have 3.5l V12s. They rock. Nothing compares to a Ferrari V12 shredding the air around you. FIA piss off and stop making my favourite sport a bit yawn.
